The Ethics Of Ambiguity

In this philosophical work titled “The Ethics of Ambiguity” French philosopher Simone de Beauvoir’s explored the concept of how freedom is affected by physical and social circumstances.

This is really the classic introduction to existentialist thought.

This book is on my bookshelf because Simone de Beauvoir maintained that womanhood, and by extension, motherhood, were social constructs that served as tools in the patriarchal oppression of women.
